![]() I had iObit, but maybe my mistake was that I uninstalled Segurazo first and then iObit could not see the remaining files? Anyway, iObit did not work for me in this particular scenario. My tech-savvy friend did this and it has saved my PC! Congratulations! You have just decimated the most insidious crapware on the internet! Go ahead and reboot your system. There should be about 3 registry folders with that name. ![]() Open TEMP\CurrentControlSet\Services\ and look for Segurazo. After this, you will see a TEMP folder in the registry inside HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. This is the Registry Hive you need to open. Look for a file called "SYSTEM" which will be written in all caps and without a file extension. Go to your Windows system drive, which could be D or E or C, but you should be able to identify it from looking at its contents Type REGEDIT, select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then go to File and click Load Hive Using the command line, navigate to Program Files (x86) and delete the Segurazo folder Boot PC in WinPE with a USB drive (Google it) "Segurazo runs a couple of Windows Services which can't be stopped or disabled even if you are the built-in administrator account! You can't delete any of its files, and you can't even modify/remove the registry values which start it in the first place. Instead, for this I recommend following the advice of Was through this whole thing and it didn't work.
